Applications and specificationsHow to choose vacuum bags
Start with the machine
Smooth vacuum bags are considered for chamber machines, while embossed bags are used with external-suction machines. Check compatibility with the specific machine and its sealing-bar dimensions before selecting a bag.
Consider the product and processing
Product shape, sharp edges, storage conditions and heat treatment all matter. Oven cooking, shrinking and cheese ripening require materials intended for those applications; a standard bag does not replace a specialist one.
Discuss your requirements
Call us to discuss your product, machine model and packaging format. If the material thickness or structure is not yet defined, we can help assess the options. We will discuss the technical details with you directly.
Selection questions
Will one bag type work with every vacuum machine?
No. Chamber and external-suction machines have different requirements. Sealing capability, bag format and the equipment manufacturer’s instructions also matter.
Can a standard vacuum bag be used for oven cooking?
Use a bag specifically intended for oven cooking. Check the permitted temperature, duration and processing method in that material’s specification.
